Crash Dive for PC released!

Crash Dive is now available for Windows PCs! It's the same blend of tactical simulation and easily accessible gameplay, but with better graphics, keyboard controls, and running on that enormous monitor you told yourself was an "investment"!

It's distibuted using Valve's "Steam" system:

Happy hunting!

Am going to give this a try. Have been looking for something new to play, will report back. :D

Hope you enjoy it!

BTW, by default the game requires an active Steam connection to run. But if you're going to be disconnected from the internet and don't care about stats/achievements, you can run in "offline" mode by doing the following:

1) Find the install folder for Crash Dive. By default, that's C:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Crash Dive.
2) Create a new text document in that folder named "steam_appid.txt".
3) Open the text file and paste this into it (without quotes): "365260".
4) Save and close the text file.

Once you've done that, you'll be able to run for a couple weeks without an internet connection. Eventually the game will get cranky and demand it.

Sorry, I'm relying on the Steam service for sales, distribution, hosting, automatic updates, achievements, and more stuff that I wouldn't want to try to replicate on my own.

I hate to say it, I know I'm in the minority, I don't know why, but I hate steam, I hate the concept, and I"ll never buy or play anything that requires it.
