Can't install/messing up install for TWoS

First off, this is my first on SUBSIM so don't bully me too hard boys.

Anyways, I recently tried to install TWoS mod from here http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=210703
I followed the included PDF instructions to the tee. Fresh reinstall, my game is already at v.1.2.0, etc. I follow every single part of the instructions and get through the setup easily... However, when I load the game up my beginning loading screen is the same, and nothing in my game changes. My main deck doesn't use binoculars, there's no fancy UI or extra tools when looking at the map, etc. Everything is still the basic SH5 game. Does anyone know any reasons why? Cheers!

Hi
You can open silent hunter 5 folder and make screenshot? And post here
:salute:

If you cannot post screenshot write :
Your game is by steam?
Path file? Where is Installed your game?
S.O? Windows7-10?
During installation you accepted to install DX9 and "netFramework" right?

And welcome in Subsim Mankdemes

Hi Mankdemes,

In the few first TWOS install windows, have you specified your correct SH5 folder?
It seems your TWOS has installed elsewhere but not upon your basic SH5 :yep:
You should try again :salute:

Cheers for the response, and the welcome!
I couldn't get a screenshot so I'll just answer the questions!
I own the game through Uplay, not steam. So I don't need the launcher for it.
My game dir is C:\Program Files (x86)\Silent Hunter 5
I have windows 10
And i did not install DX9 or the netFramework, I have more recent versions of both Direct X and netFramework

keep calm commander, but I already see 1 error
-the game must NEVER be installed in the "Program (x86)" folder .. uninstall and reinstall in other folder (my path is C / Silent hunter 5).
Program(x86) is a protect folder of Wndows.. he does not like changes to the folders inside it...
And not forgot :
Open Sh5 folder go to SH5 .exe click right key of mouse open property---> compatibility---> windows 7
Then check always open with administrator rights
Click apply
:salute:
