TLAM mission
 

Hello all

Is there a guide or video on how to do the TLAM missions? I've never been able to pass one and I'm not sure why I'm failing.

Might be a tutorial. I just close to within the maximum distance of the red dot and fire the TLAMs into the red dot. The closer you get supposedly the less chance of getting them shot down. But I've never had them shot down. Once they reach the red dot the game will redirect them to target.

I hope this helps...don't aim for the red icon. It's not the real target.

Your target (shipping base) is the BLUE CIRCLE. Aim for the center of it approximately. Watch your missile shot (F3) and you can see your missile hits on the base.
Make sure you fire the quantity of missiles per your orders. When your missile reaches the blue circle it will activate and home on a target in the base.

Before firing any missiles sink all the enemy destroyers with TASM, and or torpedoes. What works for me is to fire passive torpedoes, then TASM missiles at the ships after or if your discovered. Take a VLS sub if possible like the SSGN Ohio

Then hit the base with required number of TLAM missiles :up:

Thank you all, the info helped and I finally passed the mission.

Mine was a red circle. (sigh)

To Delgard Since latest steam update if you have BETA v1.07c, circle are red now.

I'm running 1.07C as you can see in the pic.

OOPPSS I thought you were replying to me sorry

I assume the Ohio is an added mod? It's not in the vessels list file nor the Unit Reference in my 1.07d. What am I missing?
