Yeah my pleasure, I just wish MFM would work with Toyotagt's compilation like it does in Onealex but i'm waiting for him to give me a version without TMT integrated and also WAC full interiors removed so I can test the mod on it without those two features.

New update coming this weekend and will probably be the last iteration of the MFM - onealex edition as i'm having a hard time finding stuff to improve on within it, it will have around 50 ships in total and very stable.

Final version (at least for a while) of MFM 3.3 Lite Onealex edition - main link on first post has been updated.
Just over 50 ships in total all tested and very stable, I have yet to find a crash so if you find one then let me know.

-Added back S01B (small merchant type 04) and L03B (Large merchant type 03) from NYGM MFM pack as only them two had complete recognition manual sils with 45 and 0 degree angle diagrams.

-Added complete recognition manual sils- with angles for all ships thanks to Izgud MFM 3.3 Silhouettes.

-Renamed M26B, M27B, and T07B to North Sands-class fort cargo, Ocean-class Fort cargo and Dale-class oiler and made it only available for British roster as specs and looks are very similar.

-Renamed M17B to C1-M type cargo as specs and looks matched exactly, also renamed M21B to CAM type merchant.

-reorganised the names in recognition manual so little easier to scroll through

New version of MFM Onealex mod on first main post!!!!

-minor tweaks with ship names adding more historical ship class names based on the ships stats and looks if it matched historically. Example 'Small tanker type 01' name changed to Type T1-MT-M1 tanker, changed 'Large steamer' too 'Cameron class steamship' etc, etc.
I'm changing the generic names of the MFM ships that already came with Onealex mod instead of the ones that come with MFM 3.3 Lite as you'll notice them in your patrols more often then the other MFM ships because their included in both the .SCR.mis and the .RND.mis campaign files.
Other then that its the same good ol' Onealex MFM lite mod with just over 50 ship models and as always enable MFM 3.3 lite through JSGME application and paste/overwrite the 'ship names' file to your SH3/SH3 Commander Eng/Cfg folder.

First off, Thank you for your continuing work on the MFM 3.3 Lite-Onealex Edition. I noticed in the MFM 3.3 Lite download there is a Ship Names.cfg file along with the Data folder. I also there was a separate Ship Names.cfg file on your download page. Are these one in the same ? The reason I ask was they were different in size, Megabyte wise. I did a quick side by side comparison and to me they look similar. But just making sure. Thanx Again

There is no other ship names.cfg file on my download page, if I had one earlier it has been removed. Please use the one that comes with the mod. Its so that proper ship names come up on your sh3Comander patrol log after your patrol instead of generic names like Medium merchant 28 sunk it will say SS John Brown for example.

An example from a patrol I finished today using long range type 9C Uboat attacking coastal waters of America in February-March 1942, first 2 were British ships sunk enroute to America and last one was a British ship sunk coming back home. All the rest were American ships and a good variety of historical class ships in the patrol with no duplicates (though duplicates are still seen sometimes like in convoys). Got back with only one torpedo remaining and 25% fuel left after almost 2 months on patrol (of the 21 torpedoes fired - 15 hit their mark, experienced 4 torpedo failures and 2 missed shots and all were either lone merchants or traveling in pairs)

Yes it works flawlessly and is very stable with updated recognition manuel pictures (all picture angles). Plus changed the names in Englishnames.cfg file in the sea folder to represent historic class/ship types.

Hi Kal, Been busy with other stuff the past few days. Got a break today (raining) so I have the ole SHIII/ OneAlex fired up. Started a new patrol so I haven't got'n too far, but so far so good.

Hi,

first thing I want to say is thank you for your amazing work.

Secondly, I get constant CTD with fresh Onealex installation and your mod when I start a new carreer and load first mission.

I compared updated verion from 19th March with the previous one, I noticed EnglishNames.cfg are missing in data\Sea folder in updated version of your mod.
Could that be the cause for CTDs I am getting ?

Yes the englishnames.cfg was missing from the sea folder and that would cause a ctd, thankyou and I don't know how it got removed but its back there now if you'll redownload it from main link.

-added OMBunyzun model from community units pack and named it Old War class oiler

-many names changed to historical ship classes based on their ship stats and appearance matching their historical counterparts using picture references for example:

Service oiler model renamed to T1-M-A2 type tanker - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T1_tanker

NOMRanger model changed to Ranger class tanker - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ranger-class_tanker

OSHaruna to Ol class oiler - http://www.historicalrfa.org/rfa-shi...harbour-oilers

T1A to Leaf class oiler - http://www.historicalrfa.org/rfa-shi...f-class-oilers

OTMS and LTMS to 'Fleet replenishment oilers' because of their huge size of 190m in length, they were named T3 type tanker before but no T3 or T2 type tanker was that long in WW2, it wasn't until 1964 that they 'Jumboized' their old T3-SE-A3 tankers from WW2 for use in the Vietnam War.
