AI Running Silent Bonus

Do the AI use "Running Silent" mode (and receive bonus from it) ?

And what is meaning of

RunningSilentBonus=5,8
in the config.txt.

5 and 8 - what effect exactly of these numbers ?

AI doesn't use silent running.

Those numbers are the decibel range by which your noise is reduced whenever being listened for with passive sonar. The actual amount is a random value in the range specified.
