OM install
Hi folks, it's me the idiot. Long story short, win 10 install wiped out the operating system and everything in my user account (which I hadn't backed up, of course.) Anyhow, to re-install Op M on a clean re-install of sh4 uboat, what files are needed these days? Worst part: I had made it to late '44!

Win 10 and SH4
Have been using SH4 for many years and just decided to try my first mod on a clean install under new Windows 10. Downloaded OpsMonsun_V705 and the installer JSGME and after installing a 7zip app, unzipped both, ran JSGME and dropped the OPsMonsun into the left panel and then activated it so it appeared in the right panel. Ran Sh4 and doesn't look different, help!!!

It sounds like JSGME is in the wrong folder. I always put JSGME into my game folder, then create a shortcut with an appropriate name, a la JSGME OM.
Quick test: Look in your SH4 folder and see if there is a folder called MODS. If not, then JSGME is definitely in the wrong place. |
So far so good
Many thanks for the reply, I have done as suggested and there is now a folder called Mods which has both the JSGME and the Opsmonsun as a folder in it, have run JSGME put Opsmon into left pane then activated it, but nothing looks different so far.
Any further help appreciated. |

As for changes, it doesn`t look different, just adds the german campaign from 1939 on to the game. |
Working
Many thanks to all who helped this ancient mariner to do his first mod, would anyone advise any more mods before I set off on new challenges.
