LolWaffles? What?

So.....what is this? A flight group or some kind of inside joke shared here or what? :hmmm:

Lolwaffle.

Flight group, inside joke, take your pick at any particular time.

Arc has pictured the standard landing technique required.

Flightgroup

3 years ago, after a *Ahum* succesfull campaign in Sicily *cough*
after that we started to refer ourselfs as the LoLWaffles iirc.

The running joke in the group is our *non-intentional* screw ups at landing, pissing of Uncle Adolf, complaing about the BF109G6 and having our vendetta with Schulz the guy that does the German ground control in the game as he always repeats the same line over and over again ''Nicht Landen''.

A few year ago there was a private server in buna land used exclusively for the GWX team and that team included in its ranks a certain ruffian that goes by the name of Hunter ICX and a real shady type that went by the name of Dowly.

The Lolwaffles took a section on the TS server and soon more joined with names like Oberon, Schroeder etc. and what a weird collective they all made.

I flew with them once but soon came to the conclusion flying wasn't for me, especially when Dowly turned himself into an air to ground missile each time I taxied along the runway.

I'd stay well clear of them if you want to maintain your sanity :yep:

Other than that they are a great set of guys and most of whom I consider as friends

Don't forget the fantastic singer Danlisa when he had a couple then he started to sing ''Fly with me'' :haha:

Oh that sounds awesome guys. Haha, I think I qualify. Ive, well, botched some landings. :har: IL-2 isnt my best sim. :wah: Im not the greatest at landing. Now, MSFS2002, 2004, and CFS3, im the best at landing. :shucks: IL-2 is another story. My BF109 has randomly decided to, well, drop flat on the runway.

Arclight 06-22-12 11:40 AM

Try landing on a carrier. Your scoring equals the number of degrees of list it develops.

Ive had some "rough" carrier landings in Jetfighter V. I dont have IL-2 1946 yet, but when i do, I'll try some carrier landings. :yeah:

Ive got great news for the guys who helped in my other thread. I found software that allows my old flight stick to work on my win7 x64 laptop. That means i can get IL-2 1946 to work on my laptop. Which indirectly means, that one day, I may get to fly with the waffles. :D I hope you guys will let me.
