Retro Classic SH 2 Voices Question
 

To celebrate this year's fundraiser, I installed Silent Hunter II, the DC compat patch and Projekt Messerwetzer plus the bonus goodies. Pleasantly surprised by how well it runs, looks, and plays despite the many years.

Question concerns the voices options for the Campaign. I select Translate Voices "on" and hear Englsih voices in Single Missions. But only German voices in the Campaign, regardless of Translate option on or off. Is this correct, or have I done something wrong?

Something is wrong because you must have the US version. I use SH II & PM to play Pacific Aces, and of course everything is in English.

I never played the U Boats, however the voices should be in English in a US version. Don't know what to tell you other than see if just PM & SH II by themselves are in English, then add the next mod & check, and so on.

Thanks Aanker! I appreciate your reply. I will re-look at my install and the settings both. I thought something must be wrong, given the English voices when playing one way, but not the other.
