Patrol mission can't be completed?

Hello.
This is my first post here.
I finally installed SH5 with TWOS properly and that's awsome.

But I'm having some problem completing mission objectives now.
On my second patrol I choose the eastern waters and I finished three secondary missions. Each one I'll receive a encrypted radio message to tell me where to patrol and the radius and time.

However on my third and now fourth patrol. I didn't receive any radio message about that. I completed my first objective on my third patrol and the new objective icon appeared, with no radio message to let me know what it is.

And on my fourth patrol I reached the patrol area and patrolled for more than 3 days, still can't finish it.

I don't know what's wrong. My third and fourth patrol are northwest waters, maybe that matters?

PS, How do I know how long should I stay in the patrol area to complete the objective(if I can't receive the encrypted radio message to let me know that)?

Each mission with patrol grids you will be given a total of 3 grids while on patrol.
Your first orders are in the bunker.
Each grid completed is followed by a radio message.
After the 3rd grid is completed you will receive a further radio message.
You are free to patrol anywhere.
Each grids patrol time is 24 or 48 hours and has to be completed without making a manual game save.
F.A.Q. & Tips

- If I patrol the area for 20 hours , save the game and continue the game the other day , this time I patrolled is also saved ?
Unfortunately , it is not...You shouldn't reload the game or leaving the area until those 48/72 hours are passed. However, if your patrol timer is stopped due to mentioned reasons, it is not the end of the world (You'll stay short for just a couple of crew promotional points, there is no other penalties). This also means that you certainly don't wont to miss approaching large convoy just because it is outside of your patrol area... You can restart your stuck patrol timer by exiting from patrol zone, saving/reloading the game and entering the designated zone again....

Thanks for your kind answer.

I checked the tips before and I got my first patrol finished with three missions done properly.

But on my second patrol I finished the first mission(radio message received after I left the port), but didn't received any radio message, I got the "new objective" on my screen but don't know what it is, since the objective on the captain's log is just "objective 2" or something like that.
So I didn't finish the other two mission and return to base.

Now I'm on my third patrol. I didn't receive any radio message for my first mission. I patrolled the target area "AM1544" for more than 3 days and the mission is not completed. I guess this might be caused by the missing radio message.

So I'm wondering if anybody else encountered the problem of not receiving mission radio messages. And how to fix it.

OK I'm now on my fourth patrol.
Just delivered the spy near Liverpool.
No new objective and no new encrypt radio message.
Guess I'm abandened by the BDU:doh::doh:

So, why do you use Encr. BdU Orders addon if you don't want/don't know how to decipher messages?

Oh maybe my poor English has made my point unclear.:oops:
I do want and know how to use the machine to decript the messages.
Just couple of minutes to decript them.

My problem is I can't receive the encrypt radio message anymore.

I can receive them on my first patrol.
Never received any other on my third/fourth patrol.
So no new secondary objective for me anymore.

It's not end of the world but it's annoying.
I'm asking if anyone encountered this problem before.
Searched the forum but havn't found any post about it.

Three area patrol missions is max per single patrol...Other missions like spy infiltration or convoy intercept have only one mission and no patrol assignments (chose patrol area at your discretion) ...

Your encrypted messages sometime may fail to appear in your radio messages log but they will certainly be visible in your captains log...

I did also just start up this game with this mod and patrolled the area AM1544 for many days, what i discovered by pure luck is that its a type error. It is supposed to be AN1544 not AM1544. I googled the problem and found this thread, so now i posted this in case new readers also find themselfes stuck on that patrol :)

That happens, more then less but it will happen to 100%. So maybe that would be worth it to create an info at the beginning from the enigma tutorials in the TWoS first page tutorials!? :yep:
