As long as the qualification process was exactly the same as for men, I have no issues and wish them the best of luck.

As a qualified submariner I congratulate them on their accomplishment, but I also see it as them getting no where. The physical standards are still different between the sexes. Make them the same and they will have my full respect and admiration.

Seiously, I hope the women do well on board and I believe they will. I do agree the standards should be equally maintained regardless of gender...
