Confirm this is correct

Thought I would ask for help with this again

still having a problem with the sextant in WOS , could someone who uses the sextant mod please confirm that when using the mod and then pressing "T" to teleport the UZO icon is lit up in yellow ?

is this right ?

reason I am asking is I cannot for the life of me get this mod to work ….

sometimes the highest observation I can take is about 3 degrees then after about say 30 minutes It will let me observe an object up to about 28 degrees but never any higher ?

I really don't believe this is an install problem as everything else is working like a charm ,,no problems no crashes very stable

I apologise for asking these questions again but I am studying cel nav and really want to use this mod just to practice the whole procedure as it were

I know some of you out there are really into this stuff so would appreciate any help or advice

I’m not using this mod, and maybe what i’m Saying will sound stupid, but could it be related to sea estate...have you tried by zero wind?
Good optics use could be affected by rough sea...like the deck gun :hmmm:

Hi f
You can change the teleporting key from the default T key to any unused key like Y by using TDW's Options File Editor Viewer (OFEV) Teleporting Tab.
Alternatively you could keep the T key and add Shift.

Thanks Pete

would you say that this is a probable reason for the sextant not working properly ? as in it should not be tied to the UZO key which is lit up . this is seems to be my default WOS not touched anything

I've only seen it working on a you tube video so cant be sure but I believe that when I move the mouse it should move from 0 to 90 degrees ..

as is it wont do that, is there something that im not doing , or something I've missed ?

Cheers for your help anyway Mate
