Any of the radio mods from SH4 found in this folder works for SH5 after a few changes are made. Just follow each mod directions, create a new radio mod folder in Silent Hunter 5\data\Sound\Radio, change the radio.ini file as necessary.

Digital Trucker's program utility callled radio station manager in the above mentioned folder works great. It is for fixing any error in a radio mod that has not been reported to the radio mod developer. I have fixed a few errors myself over the years.

Install:

To install please unzip the file to the JSGME mods directory and use JSGME to install this mod!

1) JSGME will install the "ogg" files in the ~data\sound\radio\Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1939 -1943

2) Here you have now new frequencies on your Radio from:

Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1939>>>>>>>>>>>>Frequency: 44
Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1940>>>>>>>>>>>>Frequency: 55
Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1941>>>>>>>>>>>>Frequency: 66
Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1942>>>>>>>>>>>>Frequency: 77
With new link! Thanks Vitovt 13 :)

Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1943>>>>>>>>>>>>Frequency: 88

So you can hear time in time the news, music, propaganda and war reports from this year where do you play.

This is Mod from Germany :)

HINT: You can copy all ogg files to your Gramophone root in ~data\sound\gramophone so you can also hear all that from your Gramophone.

I think it should work with anything. It only changes the radio.ini file and adds some folders to data/Sound/Radio.

There's also Carotio's Intercontinental Radio pack you can download here:

http://www.silenthuntermods.com/foru...php?topic=28.0

(need to be logged in).

It is for SH4, but for SH5 you can simply make the following changes to make it work:

http://www.silenthuntermods.com/foru...sg3006#msg3006

It has 3 German stations (Hamburg, Berlin, Wien), plus Paris, Washington, BBC, CBS News, Hollywood, Honolulu and Tokyo.

The stations play from August 1938 to August 1945, they include lots of music and news.

Best radio mod ever made, imo.

Hey,

the links here are not available now. Are there new links to download the "Grossdeutscher Rundfunk" mod or the "Carotio's Intercontinental Radio" mod.
I want to install it to sh5 twos megamod. Does this work?

Did you check default radio station in TWoS? No?:hmm2:
Be careful with radio mods, some of them can cause CTDs...

Vecko, do you know which radio mods crash the game? I only have one frequency filled at the moment and would like to add more with playlists but am unsure how to do it. I have one Grossdeutsches rundfunk (TWoS) but want some allied frequencies to fill too.

Best,

I've had no problem running the absolutely huge BBC radio mod, between that and the TWOS default german station I'm pretty satisfied on my patrols.

If someone is interested, I use an own made radio mod, witch is a combination of different other great radio mods and it works perfect also with TWoS.
