For that amount of money, though ungodly expensive as far as it goes with me being a twenty year old college student, if I had the means to purchase and maintain the sub, I wouldn't. Instead, I would like to think I would buy out a shipyard to build me a replica VII-C U-boat, to scale and everything, with some modern technology such as more modern diesels, and other working parts to ensure safety, then give 7 to 14 day pleasure cruises in places such as the Caribbean, or for short tour of duties for subnuts such as you guys.

That, would be my cup of tea for $5,000,000.00
