Is there a database of ships?

There are so many ships to choose from in the mission editor.
Is there anywhere that has all the ships listed along with a photo and data about them (besides the in-game recognition manual)?

Also, is there something that describes the differences in each class of sub?

Thanks!

Hello Jerm138,

You can go to the museum in the game menu, it has a dropdown menu at the for country and type of ship, and a button on the bottom for the recognition manual, so you can see the actual ship and some info.

There is no database that I am aware of.

Maritime Ships Database

Maritime Ships Database - Freeware Version.

http://www.msd.googleload.net/download.html

The following ship information is, as a rule, available on MSD :

- Ship identification
- Ship manager
- Ship builder
- Engine maker
- IMO, Call numbers

However, if information has not been made available to MSD, then the relevant field and corresponding heading does not appear.
