So... is it Microsoft's fault, or FireFox's fault for allowing the pop-up? Firefox says on their website to "Avoid potentially harmful downloads in the future" as one of their "Steps" to protection... :hmmm: who allows the pop-up? - I quit using Firefox because of all of the pop-ups that get by any and all pop-up blockers when using a Windows that is fully updated - Win 8 in several instances, but also Win7. My two kids have Win10 "school" laptops, and neither is using Firefox anymore, though they were both proponents of it less than two years ago. One is using Opera now, the other is on Vivaldi, and thus far (knock on wood), no pop-ups that they don't ask for, update or otherwise. What has happened to Firefox over the last few years? If I use it on my Android tablet, it crashes instead of "blocking" pop-ups...

I mainly use Opera myself on my desktop and laptop but I do have a portable firefox as well which I don't use much.
