Radio from Neutral Sub about detection of enemy sub?

G'day guys,

I'm trying to do up a scenario where I have to do a photo recon of the Syrian port at Tartus.

I have an (allied) Israeli SSK off the port and a 50% probability of a Russian SSN lurking about too.

Is there a way to have it so that if the Israeli SSK detects the Russian SSN, it'll radio me (but won't fire)?

I tried to set up the scenario, but there was no radio message and the Akula fired a Shkval at the Israeli boat and sank it...talk about international incident! :arrgh!:

I'm trying to set it up so that:
Israel-Russia neutral
U.S.-Israel allies
Russia-U.S. hostile

Thanks guys - I'm a bit new to scripts and triggers - so please explain in dumb-dumb language...:salute:

Cheers
Stew

Just an update,

I got it to work, guys - I had to set the Israeli sub as neutral and use "doctrine language" to set the parameters for detection.

Works a treat!

Cheers!

Hey Stewy, any chance of posting the mission up on here for us DW players to try?

Hey Adrian - I'm using DWX-RA, is that ok? Or do they need to be "stock" boats so that all people can play?

Happy to share - just am not sure how - any tips?

Cheers
Stew

Post it as is, but be sure to say that the mission uses RA mod In the description. If be very interested in seeing that one, but as a russian sub fan I'd love to play it as the akula.

Just out of curiosity, why did you pick an akula as the russian sub. With it being the med and all, it would be more realistic for them to send one of the improved kilos or the Alrosa from the Black Sea fleet to act as coastal patrol. Still sounds interesting though.
