Oh no.. I really loved the series "The Avengers" with Patick McKnee as her partner, she also starred in other films like the Bond franchise or last i think in GoT, and on stage in theaters..

May you rest in peace.

In 2017, the 20-a-day smoker found herself seriously ill and undergoing a heart operation. During surgery, Rigg's heart stopped and her life hung by a thread. "The good Lord must have said, 'Send the old bag down again'," the devout Christian later told a journalist. "I'm not having her yet."
A certain toughness that was no act....even in her acting. I just loved her as Emma Peel.:arrgh!:

Sad! She play well in 'Her Majesty's Secret Service' along with George Lazenby.

Yes, she was certainly quite a lady in so very many ways.

I hope she did not suffer much at the end

One of the great women. She was a big influence on what my ideal woman developed into through my youth. That and she drove cool cars....

RIP

That's a shame. I will always remember her as PBS's "Mystery" host, announcing Hercule Poirot & any number of iconic European detectives!

When she played opposite George Lazenby she complained because she was a Shakespearean actress and all ever did was do a commercial for Frys chocolate (Big Fry), she thought she was far superior to have such a low level man as the star.

So he purposely had garlic on his breath for the kissing scene to get back at her.

Her obit stated that she was accused of doing that and denied it. Something isn't adding up.

Hard to say which one if not both of them ate garlic to rile the other.

This article states it was Rigg who ate the garlic to get at Lazenby.

I had a huge crush on her in the Avengers.

RIP Mrs. Peel.
