ACTUV Platform Specs
 

Per request, somebody asked for a cheat sheet for the spec on each platform. Sorry bout the size :oops:. And shape, I did this in paint, and it wouldn't let my go down, just wider. If somebody wants to hack this up and make shaped right to fit on a piece of paper, go ahead. This is also nice because it's a real pain to try and compare the specs on each side by side. Hmm.. some of my first thoughts from looking at this..

Seahorse seems like it'd be a pain in the arse to play.. Low speed and range on both of its sensors compared to others..

Triton a little better due to higher speeds that your able to use HF..Though its range seems to be half that of the Seahorse.

Remore seems like a pretty solid design to me.. Trawl around at low speed with the Medium Frequency and then when you need a solid solution dash in with HF.

Gator seems.. well.. Like the Easy Button.

Shark (from looking at sensors data, etc) and looking at the topic about it, seems like an interesting design.

After careful consideration, I've decided that the Triton fracking sucks. Mostly because of the short range of the HF combined with the shallow elevation creating a blind spot at depth between about 300-1000yds range. I've stopped trying to maintain contact on both the MF and HF if he goes deep. Still can't quite break 100k.

In-Game Cheat Sheet
 

I just hit the F2 Key, select the ACTUV in the display by left-clicking on it, and then right-click for the menu. At the bottom is the reference for that platform, giving you the sensors and their speed/range data. I find that method easier than looking away at a cheat sheet, and it gives the operator the overall view of all the shipping traffic courses and relative positions.

Yeah, me too, but I didn't even realize that the tab in the Reference that is usually a photograph contained the "cheat sheet" until Gargamel posted it here. :cheers:
