XVIII

Is there a playable type XVIII for SH3 as there is for SH4?

Are you sure about your Roman Numerals?

The Type XVIII was an experimental Walter electro-boat. There were two made, but the Germans decided to go with the XXI (edit) and scrapped the two XVIII in 1944, literally.

If you are asking about the XXIII, yes it is in SH3 (edit, should have added "as a mod").

I thought the XVIII was scrapped in favor of the XXI, as their designs were both intended for ocean going mission. Where as the XXIII was more of a coastal patrol design, and only carried two torps.

:hmmm:

The stock version of SH3 does have the XXI, but not the XVIII, or the XXIII. However, there is a mod that will add a XXIII into the game. I'm not sure if anyone ever modded an XVIII for SH3 though.

I am certain that I ask for that type, the XVIII.
Because it is playable in SH4-KSD.

This is the XXI type, the XVIII had one screw and it was smaller.

:Kaleun_Wink:Maybe the modders have only forgotten to convert it from SHIV to SHIII.
