Bug with camera view

Hi

I am just getting back into GWX after years of being away.

I have a few mods added but i am having a major issue with the camera view or rather the control of the camera views. IIRC, regardless of what GUI was in place one could click the mouse to look around and control the periscope, UZI and binocular views. Just to be clear, you could click the scope the cursor would dissappear and the mouse would then be bound to the view so you could rotate etc. I have zero control of these views now and i am unable to use the cursor keys or numpad to move these. Shift + F2 just moves the viewpoint but I still cannot move. Right mouse click brings me back to control room (original startpoint when game loads.) External cams are the same, I cannot rotate or zoom.

Also the "startpoint" in the control room I am positioned behind one of the watch officers and his body seems to be clipping so i can see through him partially. This leads me to believe there is a problem with the camera position points within the rooms. It might be a clue.

I have tried to eliminate any clashes of camera related files with JSGME but I cannot make any progress. Does anybody know what might be a problem?

(The Asterisk ties up the mods that are clashing but I cant see how this might affect the views.)

UPDATE

Just a note to say for future reference I figured out the problem.

Apparently Norton hijacked a couple of modded files and i hadn't noticed. One of these was camerabehaviour.act which obviously tells the mouse pointer how to react with the world!

So once cleared from quarantine this file is back up and doing its job. I would have thought the game would CTD without a .act but there you go...
