"Girls und Panzer" der film.

Not sure if this has been posted yet. But ( if you don't put your psychoanalyst hat on )* it's a great film. Quite exciting in the battle sequences. Good, fun characters.

This is a question about a movie from the 80's or somewhere around that time.

My sister asked me if I could remember a film from that time era.

It have been a nuclear war, you don't see any nuke explode(that is what she think). The movie follow people in a little town who start to get ill/sick from the radiation and a woman had to buried her children.

She says or think it is an American movie.

Nothing comes to my mind, there came lots of anti-war/nuclear war movie during the 80's.

Edit: She found the movie herself it was The Testament from 1983.

I just finished watching a Russian movie from 2017 called Salyut 7, kind of a cross between Gravity and Apollo 13. It's pretty decent, and has some really well executed space sequences, although there's some pretty obvious made up BS near the end that kinds of drags it down a little bit.

Have just watched Wind River on Netflix the other day.

I don't get to watch movies much these days, but that was a good one. Give it a watch if you've got time!

The first "Perry Rhodan" movie. Made in the mid 1960s it's quite dated now and diverges quite a bit from the first Perry Rhodan novel on which it's based. But given it's age it's not bad. It helps if you're a fan of the books - over 3000 volumes ( a new one every week since the 1960s ).:)

Saw the latest Star Wars (The Last Jedi) on disc now. Terrible. Story-telling and narration never was a strength of the Star Wars franchise, but here the bad reaches new heights. The general standardised infantility scale also has been added a new value for defining the upper limit.

Okay, I'm cured. In this life I'm finally through with SW.

The Frau dragged me to the Avengers: Infinite Move Length today. Over 2.5 hours of CGI so it that's your thing you will love the movie.

Fortunately we were able to see it in a theater with reclining seats. Unfortunately, once again, the theater had the sound cranked up so high that sleeping was not easy.

Just like with that Comic Civil War movie, I don't understand how a director can make fight scenes boring. But I guess when most of your budget is spent on CGI and paying famous actors their fees, there is not a lot left over.

But because of the CGI, it will be a blockbuster.

I too have just seen The Last Jedi and after the mess of the last one i had no high hopes what so ever. So the nose dive was not as bad knowing this would be CGI and little on the story line.

Why they had to make it another 30 minutes longer so they could drag out please Luke we need you crap was a wast of time. After he tosses away the light saber whats her name should had said..Screw you I'm out of here.

Disney has done what i never believed possible after parts 1-3 wrecked the saga. They clearly felt fit to take a sledge hammer to the wreck and smash it up more.
