Docks in Mission editor?

Trying to place some harbor traffic.Surely there is a way to make docks show up in the mission editor? Hard to place them properly without a reference.

Have the file you are editing open in the ME. Click on the "Merge..." You'll get a little pop-up thingie. Be sure that the "Mark merged data as saveable"e is UNTICKED!!! Do NOT have that selected. Reason being, if it is ticked, then you double the file sizes... not good. Anyway, click on the OK button, and then select "Campaign_LOC.mis" and then "Open". You should see all the docks now when you zoom in. Thing of this is, depending upon where you are, you might also want to "merge" the US_HarborTraffic, or the Jap_HarborTraffic, and maybe even the respective NavalBases and Minefields MIS files... You can merge to your hearts content, remembering your computer resources. If you crash the editor with 10 files open, only do 8, that kind of thang... When you go to save, it should only save what you edited in the file you originally opened. If you notice something in any of the other files that you want to change, you'll have to do it later, since only the first file "Open" (the others are "Merge") can have data saved, so make a note of what you have, and open that later for some Merge and editing for later... :salute: - the confusing thing for me when doing this, is that ALL of the assets are lumped together in the Explorer tab, and NOT by file, but oh well. Thank goodness they thought of the Merge function before they released the ME...

What would have been nice would have been to have a "check-off" dialog at the beginning of the load. "Do you wish to add any additional layers?" but this does work, albeit clumsily...
