Will Harpoon Ultimate Edition by Matrix Games work on Windows 7 64 Bit systems? :arrgh!:

It works OK on my Win-7, 64-bit desktop but I would not bother because the program itself has not aged well and is pretty lame for this day and age. I removed all of the Harpoon family from may gaming rig since to me, they have become unplayable dreck. But your mileage may vary.

For what it's worth I do play a lot of old games, some are still great, like Aces of the Deep, others can still provide a quality and enjoyable gaming experience like Great Naval Battles Guadalcanal or Age of Rifles. But some have become time-wasting trash and sadly, the entire Harpoon franchise has slipped into this category.

My advice is to stick it in the compost with the rest of the spoiled tenderloin and move on.
