Back from a pleasant meal with a non too anorexic wallet....most enjoyable. Whilst the restaurant wasn't of a fish theme the wife had Sea Bass and I had Cod.

Food just goes in one end and out the other :o ... makes us equal with everyone in the world :hmmm:

I don't like food that's too carefully arranged; it makes me think that the chef is spending too much time arranging and not enough time cooking. If I wanted a picture I'd buy a painting.

Still reeling from the excitement of watching Fubes win the First One To Post competition; it was better than the Olympics. His little blue icon came on at around 7.25 and we all thought "Will he make it this time? He's been so brave and tried so hard to win this".

He got off to a false start, posting at 7.29, but the spawny get just managed to pull it back, chucking another one in at 7.30... those 30 seconds between posts must have seemed like a lifetime to the little fella.

Feeling a tad annoyed atm. Expecting arrival of two parcels this morning and went out for eight minutes to take the wife to the ferry terminal and when I got back I'd missed them both.

Followed the instructions on the ticket regarding whereabouts of goods etc. and the system reckons my reference number is invalid :k_confused:

Just as well I put off a visit to the collection office as late as possible. At three o'clock the bedside table lamps arrived via Hermes and at quarter to four the driver (bless his cotton socks) decided to try a second time to deliver my parcel containing the beast (Vulcan) before finishing his round :yeah:

Just as well because it wasn't Royal Mail and I'd have trailed down to the collection office for nothing :oops:
