The Med
After being submerged for so long have blown tanks to see that things are still ticking on nicely in SH3.
Especially nice to see Von Dos still working on his Italian fleet. In the spirit of that I DL those to add to my own install. I was a bit disappointed to find some of the med scripting didnt use placeholders but generic units making it harder to replace example from Taranto battle group 13 Dec 41 Name=Italian Battleship#1 Class=BBLittorio https://i.postimg.cc/htypTJzD/Taranto-before.jpg Which after a long search thru the RN day by day site should have been Name=RM Caio Duilio Class=BBDuilio https://i.postimg.cc/8C7wH1Mh/Taranto-after.jpg So I started replacing those entries and then noticed the Med was really underpopulated re ship movements ( never play in the med myself ) The Italian fleet is superb but you cant sink it :har: Alexandria Before https://i.postimg.cc/9QFLDPfg/Alex-before.jpg Alexandria So far - 11 group movements added there for Oct/Nov 1940 of stuff you can sink and all historical movements taken from https://www.naval-history.net/xDKWW2-4011-24NOV01.htm and http://www.convoyweb.org.uk/misc/index.html https://i.postimg.cc/9fsbgvYs/Alex-after.jpg Currently at November 1940 so a while to go and not as fast as i used to be :haha: buts its all an education And still more Italian units to replace, this time adding name as placeholder units for those I dont have eg the Oriani class of destroyer Name=Vincenzo Gioberti <---- Correct unit name Class=DDSoldati <------- Placeholder unit in case ever get the correct one Obv this will increase file sizes so have cut the med down to itself only https://i.postimg.cc/dVkTNDNt/Cropped-Med.jpg |
