I was waiting! |
Thank you ZUIKAKU1944 !
Lovingly detailed. |
Faith, it took me ~forever~ to find this thread, but now we have our 3D Modder extraordinaire that might want to try to do this for his next project:
(REQ) Nagara Class light cruiser Do you think that is possible, ZUIKAKU1944? I used to kit-bash plastic model kits when I was a kid, and could see without need of a 60-power, lighted magnifying glass - but I have no idea if it's possible to do similar with 3D models, where you take parts from two different ships, make a few smaller detail partss, and "kit-bash" them all into a new SH4 model? Knowing what I do of S3Ditor, it almost seems like it might be easier to start from scratch... :salute: |
Dear ZUIKAKU1944,
Thank You very much for new excellent unit. It is relly great.:Kaleun_Thumbs_Up: |

My friend made Nagara Class at SH4. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=5313 |
Excellent! I've got the mod and have tried it in FotRSU, and it does fine. I'm making a video to send to the rest of the team, and we'll probably contact noshiro also. Thank you! :salute:

I will try her out in TMO and tell you how it does!
Looks like a really fun ship to add to my Raider collection. :arrgh!: |
I've been playing around with the Katori on custom missions. It's a fun ship to watch from a distance. You'd be surprised how quickly merchant ships blow up when it starts shooting. It's also manned by the most determined crew I have ever seen.
https://s10.postimg.org/5yxawjfuh/katori.png (you can't see it here, but it was still blasting away :o) Just a small niggle: I love the fact that you put it's historical AA upgrade of single 25mm guns, and in it's correct locations. But they're set to appear at the beginning of the war, even thought they should appear by mid '44. Same goes for the 2 127mm flak guns. Could you change it so that they appear in the late war? I can help you with dates and what was added each time, if you need to. |
i am so sorry i cannot download anything looks like they have something against me...oh well...wish you good luck on creating ships!

Use the link in his first post chrysanthos. It is a nicely done ship, with a correct hull and guns. It is not playable though... :salute:

I've changed the .eqp file so that guns will be added as they appeared in real life. Now the ship will recieve it's depthcharges, radar, and new AA as they were added in 1944.
ZUIKAKU1944, I hope I don't offend you if I put a download link here. If you want me to remove it, say the word. http://www.mediafire.com/file/1tcott..._Katori_eqp.7z Just activate and let it overwrite with JSGME. |
