Bathurst class escort minesweepers / corvettes

Hello,

finally the Bathurst seems combat ready:

https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/21...yeg2rddc6g.jpg

The models represents the 60 Bathurst class escort minesweepers / corvettes, built in Australia from 1940 to 1944. The mass of the class served with the Royal Australian Navy, 4 were in the Royal Indian Navy.

Note, GWX alrady has a model of the Bathurst (a clone of the Flower corvette); the new model is set up to replace it.

The package comes with serveral new items in libraries and the equipment files cover different loadouts and also changes in equiopment with time.
I included textures of 12 Australian vessels, which represent typical schemes.

For those unhappy with the textures (or missing the preferred town's name :03:) I suggest downloading and screening the entire set of textures, covering all vessels.

P.S.: Jeff, I forgot to model the arched deck. When I noticed, it was already too late for reasonable correction. Hope you may still like the result.

Here's the special J566 texture: http://www.mediafire.com/download/tr...thurst_T13.zip

Great work as always Frog

What are the chances of the Wyoming class BB coming next? I love that ship, and would love to see it in SH3

Many thanks Frog! As ever between the Masters.

@all: thanks for kind words

@Hitman & A6Intruder: German decorations for adding more Uboat threats to the game? :hmmm:

@LGN1: No Castle class. Never. Awful ships.

@kibeldede: The Wyomings were interesting vessels. However, I have different ideas. One is doing the model of a cutter.

LGN1 11-04-15 03:57 PM

And a Loch class? :D

Regards, LGN1

OK, that's fine. But they're certainly not out of the question, are they?

the_frog 11-15-15 03:03 PM

@kibeldede: Ships the size and complexity of the Wyomings are not possible because of limited time.

kibeldede 11-15-15 06:36 PM

Ah I see. You rework larger ships, but don't make them, only smaller vessels.

I wish I had the same skills as you, make the damn thing myself. But alas, no such luck.

Never mind :salute:
