Went looking for BoB2 today. It used to be on everyones shelves, but now it is impossible to find! :nope: Can't find it!

You will probably have to order it online.

Only can find it for about $50. Not sure its worth that. I was expecting to find it for about $20-$30.

I've tried probably 10 stores now and I am giving up buying this locally. Tried everything from Fry's to CompUSA to Bestbuy to....
 -S |
K- Found it at Overstock.com - for $32. That is tolerable.

It's a great game. But you didn't look very hard, not even the publisher sells it for that much. :)

I have this game for a few months now but I did not get into it yet.
It is damned hard to fly these 40's planes with all the trimming you have to do. And once you happen to trim your plane it all is worthless when you have to change speed. The calibration of my controls is also very hard I think, which controls do you use to trim the planes? Joystick throttle? Mouse wheel? What sensitivity? Are there decent tutorials on this subject? |
I bought the original and the updated version of BB2, but I have to say I was not overly impressed with either of them, it had some cool things (the Merlin engine sound for one), but having actually been lucky enough to pilot a real Spitfire two seater once, I thought the flight model was a bit over-tricky, the real thing is easy to fly.
Oddly enough, I was at a dog show today in Yorkshire near the exit and I heard the unmistakeable sound of a Merlin engine, so rushed outside to see a Hurricane whizzing off into the distance. Gotta love that Merlin engine sound. Back on topic, BB2 is available in the UK for about ten quid: here: http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/5723...y/Product.html or here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Battle-Brita...0213942&sr=1-1 |
Look like Il-2 to me, unless it's a upgrade for il-2.
