Oh nooo! I hoped I would be the one posting this news!

Should I really welcome a guy who beat me to it? :hmm: A question of politeness... a question of friendliness.... hm, and of fairness... Okay, so here we go :

Welcome aboard, Alan "Quickposter" 323 :-j

Thanks Skybird, didn't mean to steal your thunder. Honest. :) I don't think it's really official yet. so consider it a rumour. I promise to hold my horses when the "Official Announcement" is posted.

Well good news.

Nonsens, the earlier the news gets around, the earlier we all feel happy. If you get the news earlier than me, post it ASAP! Take that as a direct order, soldier!

But you could be right. Ssnake told us last week that the last general testing is done this week and if it is successful, the code will be freezed immediately. So your "rumour" perfectly fits into the timeframe they hoped for. i assume it will be frozen before the weekend at the latest.

Well I am chagrined. I d/l the Steel Beasts demo (the earlier version from 2001 or so) and thought it cool. Not easy, and or course tried the tutorials esp. the one in full manual with hand crank turret and the auxilery site....naturally to prepare for an earlier period. But I see the value of first shot first kill weapons. :sunny:

Well just seeing what modern stuff was like (I mean the tanks not the game) as all my play is with WWII and earlier. So I am oriented to dinosaurs. :-j
