"Wet" Attack Periscope Problem

I have been playing some of the single missions and noticed something odd. After a while of using my attack periscope, it remains "wet" or foggy for lack of a better term once raised entirely out of the water. I understand there is an effect to show the water going down the lens when bringing the scope up but it stays like that for my attack periscope. So far the observation periscope seems fine and does not run into this issue. This has happened multiple times. I am using the GWX 3.0 mega mod.

Are you using SH3Commander with the malfunctions, or sabotage&malfunctions, option selected?

Reduce your speed under 4 knots ;-)

Yes I am. I didn't think that could have been the case. Of course maybe I am also going too fast.

If u use h.sie patch, your scope will look like that over 4 knots.

If you have the malfunction sabotage option on, that will be the case.

Good luck
