Moving Tabs solution in UI
 
If you are not blessed with a 1980x1080 screen like me, you can play with the default text file to put 2 UI tabs at the bottom and one in the original position by doing a "default.txt file edit.

I have mine looking like this in the pic below. The txt file edited looks like this..

For those that don't know the "//" causes the line not to be read in the game settings. Removing it"//" makes the line active.

//Toolbar position 0,0, (1 to anchor to minimap or 0 for no anchor)
//Default toolbars overlap and enabled via tabs/keys
//ToolbarsPos=0,0,0
//ForceAllToolbarsOn=FALSE
//HelmToolbarOffset=0,0
//DiveToolbarOffset=0,0
SensorToolbarOffset=0,0 <----make this line active by removing the double forward slash (left Tab)

Force all toolbars on in bottom horizontal row
ToolbarsPos=0,0,0
ForceAllToolbarsOn=TRUE <--- all bars active
HelmToolbarOffset=331,-346
DiveToolbarOffset=645,-346
//SensorToolbarOffset=953,-346 (this keeps the masts tab on the left)

Well I have a monitor with a resolution of 2560x1440 how do I get those UI's to line up horizontally on bottom of screen? thanks.

Copy this and replace your whole default.txt file. Back up your original.

Thanks, I'm just starting and appreciate your following. I'm puttingt out better content as I learn the tools, and want to support Killerfish games They are awesome.

I've played many other sims, been around gaming for a long time and this is the best for support and updates! Also It's lots of fun with all the MODs!! :Kaleun_Applaud:

I can confirm it works in 1.08b quite well. Living in South Florida can be trying. I was recording today for a video with 1.08b and we lost power. So much for that Vid. lol

Our worst damage was we lost our refrigerator from the hurricane somehow but we'll get over that. I wanted to get a better video card (running a GTX 560) but the card is on the back burner somewhere. :doh:

Anyway I'll see if I can put up a video later. I have a pretty good one using the Chinese sub yesterday. But playing on Elite mode, I couldn't finish the first mission. Too many holes in the boat. It was an enemy torpedo fest LOL But I did get back to port where the drydock crew was not too happy..I guess it was a fail/win?
