Who can make a long distance view mod?

Well, there is a 16KM view mod,and it seems it's not good enough for battleship mod.The question is very easy:Who can make a long distance view mod?Like 24KM,or even 32KM.As battleships alaways fight more than 20KM.

It has already been done, Chinese U-47. :yeah:

There is a 20km Atmosphere or "viewing distance" mod for both GWX 3.0 and Living Silent Hunter 3 v4.0, also called LSH3.

They have not been officially released at this time but development has progressed to playable versions that seem to work quite well. Hitman, Seeadler, onelifecrisis, and myself have been involved in this effort.

There has also been active multiplayer testing of my own work on the 20km Atmosphere for both GWX and LSH3 over at ComSubsPac. Stormy has taken it one step further by adding your SH3 Warships 2.0 mod to LSH3 for testing with the 20 km view.

You can find the discussion and development in the topic started here:
[REL]Horizon Extension for GWX3 16km

According to Seeadler, 20 km is the maximum distance the SH3 game engine can support. Unless someone else discovers a way to increase this limit, this is the largest viewing distance possible for SH3.

I hope you will have it soon!

Yeah, I got a bit sidetracked with my radar mod for SH4, but now it's finished and I will get back to the 20km environment mod. Hopefully it will be finished for the weekend :hmmm:
