T72 Balkans On Fire - No Manual - Please Help!

Hi, I bought my copy through ebay from england & they stated that the box would not be sent due to postage costs, however when I got it I found it was sent from Thailand & contained no manual, after replying I was notified that the manual wasn't sent because the language is asian! - No refund!!
I'll never do that again, but it leaves me with no manual!
Could someone help me with a doc file, pdf, or point me to where I may download one please?
Kind Regards,
Reece.

Reece, you should contact Battlefront, we cannot give out manuals. Only Battlefront can do that. Thanks.

Tried Battlefront, they will only help if the product is purchased online from them.

Download the demo, while there's not a complete manual ,there is a readme that tells you the controls etc.

This is only key reference card though

Yes I got the keycard, I even tried emailing iddk with no luck, you'd think since I purchased (paid for it new) they would give a little help, but no! :-?
I was going to say something but I'll bite my tongue, don't want to upset the moderators! :D

Sorry, Reece,

but Battlefront most likely will only offer assistance when you proove to them you bought a legal copy. Same is the policy for this board here at subsim.com. That's why we remain tight-lipped. I do not say you are a pirate or bought a pirated copy. What I say is that neither Battlefront (nor we) can know.

If I were you I would ask Battlefront, if you send them the CD you got, along with copies of the purchase bill, if then they would be willing to send it back along with a manual or whatever, or a smile price offer for a new package (like a replacement deal for a broken CD some producers are offering). How that counts out concerning shipping bills and such I do not know in case of Australia.

Don't touch such suspicious ebay offers again, I would recommend.

I doubt that the costs of sending the disks to US or UK from Aust then having it shipped back again would be worth it, let alone the time it would take. :(
I'll work it out eventually or get a hold of the manual somewhere.
If there's a way of just quizing the disks to prove original I would be glad to ablige! :D
Thanks for the help.
Reece.

PS. On the data side of the disks it has, 20mm from the center, "AK BALKANS ON FIRE D1" & The other "AK BALKANS ON FIRE D2".

Hi Recce

The same thing happen to me I bought a new copy of T72 BoF off Ebay when it arrived there was no manual. I also contacted Battlefront and ask if I could purchase a manual and explaining why I needed it and again they refused. So I'm stuck with a game thats almost unplayable without the manual to refer too.

My T 72 did not have a printed manual,as it was the beta, but I got it to work just fine.Who needs a manual when you can just use the key card and go.
Maybe if you took a pic of the disk, with you in the pic to show me that it IS a real T-72 disk and not a boot leg copy.. we might be able to work with that.
Time stamp the pic.
get a close up of the disk.
Have things in it to show its you.

That'd be ok, but send it where?

Skybird 05-14-06 09:12 AM

Send Kirk a PM, better: email and settle this in private with him. Something tells me it is no good idea when putting it public that this procedure becomes a precent example.

You two please find a modus vivendi that leaves subsim.com beyond any doubt that we do not support software of uncertain origin here. Sorry, Reece, I understand your problem and the dissapointment that may derive from that, but I have to make that clear.
