Ready to embark on this project.

I'm ready to devote some time to getting the AI Jap sub in TMO RSRD to fire torpedoes.

I know it's been done challenge is getting it to work on this sub. Long ago I put the AI torpedoes on PT boats and DD's but forgot and cant seem to locate the instructions via a threat search. Remember this will require likely adding nodes etc and i'm new to this.Any help appreciated.

In FOTRSU so far we've seemed to be on the horns of a dilemma: we can make a sub that can't submerge but fires its guns at you. You can sink this sub with gunfire or torpedoes.

Or door #2 is an invulnerable sub that can submerge but refuses to fire torpedoes........

I'm not saying nothing else is possible but that's the state of our knowledge right now and we have Keltos01 and ETR(3)SS both, along with propbeanie working on the situation.

Anything you can find out to break that weird choice would be groundbreaking!

Actually, it's the "Wizard Of All Things Moving" (WOATM) for us, s7rikeback, that's working on that with our two resident sub wizards. All I'm doing is making him some missions so he can see if he can get himself sunk while he watches the testing proceedings... After he gets everything finished, he'll probably hand it all off to cdrsubron7, who is the "Wizard Of Finding All Things Broken" (WOFATB) - gotta have them acronyms, else it ain't "official"... Oh! I also shoot torpedoes at everything he makes, just to make certain they sink. Referring to The Circle Runner vid, I've also managed to sink myself (again)... :har:

As for the state of things, submerged propulsion is an issue... They have solved the invulnerability problem though (get rid of the 'stock' subs)... Everything blows up and sinks nicely. :salute:
