Seeing the name Josie Cotton shook up the old memory banks. She was very big in the Los Angeles music scene in the early 80s. Aside from being probably the sexiest singer on the scene, she had an awful lot of talent and potential. Thinking about Josie (give me a minute........OK, I'm back now...) also reminded me of another performer who also had a couple of novelty hits in the early 8os. Actress/comedian/singer Julie Brown released this single which I would venture to guess would not get airplay today...
