I see the other campaign was too much Golfplatzed to be safed.
I'll see whether I'll be around on Friday. We have an airclub meeting just before our take off time.

Oh hell back to DCG.:damn:

I love the no transfer option... lol

anywho... this campaign seems fun.:yep:

Oberon 10-01-09 02:26 PM

I do have to wonder though, does the no transfer option include moving frontlines, because, knowing some of DCGs little quirks, we might find ourselves taking off behind enemy lines.... :hmmm:

Task Force 10-01-09 02:27 PM

Me thinks it does... but knowing dcg...

On more than a few occasions we've bombed targets behind OUR lines, so what's the big deal in taking off from the enemy's side :D

Hate to ask, what is DCG and does it related to IL-1946?

DCG stands for Dynamic Campaign Generator and yes it's related to IL2. It's a program that gives you somewhat dynamic campaigns (well, atleast you get lot to choose from). You can get it from www.lowengrin.com when and if it ever comes back online.

Sortie 3 ''Find the Stuka's''

The orders of today where to babysit the Ju87's towards their target area, underway there where reports that the poles patrol the area in numbers.

The LoLWaffles took off and headed to find the stuka's, it would have worked if Priller wasn't so busy opening his can of beer in the cockpit of his 109, Galland had to correct Priller's dirrection...because he clearly was lost in the air.

After zigzagging over the line and no sight of the stuka's Adolf, Priller, Task Force, Gerhard headed towards the target area of the stuka in hopes they will find them there.
About halfway they spotted contacts on their 9 O'clock high, P-11's!!!
The LoLWaffles attacked, Priller had some of them on his 6 but the others managed to break them away from him soon after. Soon after the P-11's where shot down.
When they reached the target area they finally found the Stuka's, the rest of the 109 escorts and some more P-11's again a mid air brawl was underway. Task Force however rammed his P-11 and both where brought down.
The rest got throught it and headed back to base bearing the radio noise about how the Ju87's got butchered by 1 surviving P-11, Priller had to explain something to Goering when he was back to base.

The Air victories of that sortie where:
Priller - 2
Galland - 1
Gerhard - 2

Sortie 4 ''Shame on you Adolf Galland & Josef Priller''

Priller, Task Force and Galland took off from their base to again escort the Ju87's.
Again Priller managed to lose the Ju87's out of their sight and so they continued towards the target area following the waypoints....at a point thinking the stuka's where ahead of them doubt came to Priller discussed with Galland to make a 180º turn and fly back a bit to see where they are. But just at the point when Priller made his turn tracers where spotted 12 O'clock dead ahead.
The fight didn't last long and soon the P-11's where shot down,
when the Stuka's dropped their bombs everyone returned to base.
On the way back however when Priller and Galland where discussing some matters, Task Force reported 3 contacts following Priller and Galland while he was close enough to the contacts to identify them as P-11's.
Priller managed to ge one , Task Force lost his target and Galland....he rammed it?! Galland the smartass and proffesional of the German LoLWaffle RAMMED the P-11. radio silence fell as Priller and Task Force couldn't believe what just happend..but it was broken by Gallands frustrated yelling throught the radio he managed to salvage out of his 109...he was safe on the ground but the damage was done his pride shattered and he was very ashamed on himself.
Priller said he better not cry before Goering decides to hug him to cheer him up.
Priller touched the ground slowed down and was going to steer to the left to leave the runway and was about to say ''Das war ein gro...'' when cracking noise and Priller swearing was heard through the radio.
He managed to ram Schültz Opel Truck which caused Priller's 109 to lose both his wings and tail and engine set on fire...thougth the 109 was still standing on it's undercarriage, Priller managed to bail out in time before he was fried in his cockpit.

The Air victories of that sortie where:
Priller - 3
Task Force - 3
Galland - 1

If we wasn't fighting indestructible P.11s, all of us (Well, maybe except me as I usually fly bombers) would already have been aces...

Oh, I heard Lowengrin was on vacation or some such thing, so his site probably won't be back for at least a few days.
