How to increase ammo and speed of reload?

download silent3editor,

then when installed search in the mod the map data>library>(us)subparts

and in that map there will be a couple files than have the extension *.sim

and open the file with the name of the weapon that you wanna mod
when opend dubble klik on weapons and search for the sub menu ammo
and open the sub menu's to the last one and there is a number and that is the amount of ammo for the gun.
there you can also changer the rate of fire and reload time

The gun in the 'subparts' folder is ONLY the gun you control.
If you want to change the others, you have to go to the "shipparts/gunsradars.dat" (there are three of them) and find the same gun. It will not have the same name so check in the Yamato folder in the Yamato.eqp file to find the M02, M03 etc files to find the name of the gun.

After you find the correct gun in the 'gunsradars.dat', find the .sim that goes with it and add the folders and the .sim file to Yamato MOD. I do not recommend changing the original in the stock folder.

"Data/Library/Shipparts/gunsradars.sim" or "Data/Library/Shipparts/gunsradars02.sim" or "Data/Library/Shipparts/gunsradars03.sim"

don't make your's sub faster than torps speed, else someday you will forget to decelerate when you launch, the fish will explode at launch and you will have big big troubles :)
