Microsoft announced: Microsoft Flight
Microsoft have announced today at the Gamescom in Cologne a new flight-sim called "Microsoft -Flight"!
http://www.pcgamer.com/2010/08/17/mi...or-flight-sim/ I am on Thursday at the Gamescom and I will look around if there is more information about. |
Please do, really curious if this really is a sim, of at least same level of fidelity as FS. :yep:
|
The simple facts that you need many hours to get familiar with your 1st FS opus (erm, at least I did) thus making it a game for hardcore gamers, and that people want to feel immediate pleasure doing everything in today's world make me think that this one will deal with flight rather than with simulation, according to its title.
Visually stunning. Easy to play. Microsoft Flight = PC's Gran Turismo. |

More like.... Microsoft Flight 5 = PC's Fantasy Flying.:haha: |
LOL :D :yep:

Is it just me or is there a topless woman on the right side of the website? Or is that just a really skintight shirt... Or am I seeing things? :88)

There's no reason they can't serve both with the age-old "difficulty" slider. Put it on "Arcade" and everything will fly like Starfox.
FSX has broken winds, abysmal performance issues and no dirty simple point and click SDK for updating airports with default content without having to download 47958734gbs of paid scenery. FS9 is the last solid, working build, but every single airport is completely outdated (have fun updating them with clumsy SDKs) and it doesn't have my favorite absurdly expensive payware aircraft. I resent enjoying flight simulators and wish I was satisfied by just looking at topless women and playing Street Fighter. :damn: |
No more info on this one at the Gamecom but there was a nice flighsim from Aerosoft to try out, don't know if it was a prototype of their own development called ASF2013. It was a big rush to get someone from Aerosoft to ask and the bikini-babes at the desk didn't really know something about that flightsim :D
