Recharge Batteries
Hi,
How are batteries recharged? Thanks REDOWL |
Simply surface and order your chief to recharge them
|
OK. I see an icon which states the batteries are recharging. I did not do anything but surface the boat. How long does that take? For example, I am now at 46 percent.
Thanks, REDOWL |
Unless you go at flank speed your batteries will recharge automatically, every engine not working will be used for that, so if e.g. you go at 9 knots for longer distances 2 engines will recharge your batteries at a pretty fast rate and you won't need to tell the Engineer to run in re-charge mode.
Also resting at 0 knots will recharge them. I can talk to the Watchman for saying him NOT to use the recharge mode (chose 'I want all the speed') so I have maximum speed for the set engines running every time my batteries are <100%. This is what makes sense, or ordering the engineer to run normal. |
I thought batteries automatically recharged if you surfaced and went a certain speed. I tried different speeds and different times to wait for them to recharge but the batteries actually went down to 45. In this case the batteries only recharged when the boat was stopped and I clicked the battery icon and it turned yellow.

In your game options, is all set to realistic? Note that you must set these from within the bunker in your campaign, not in the main menu! You can check this in the file located in your numbered savegame folder, which is 0000002 or something. I don't know which file, I'm not on my rig currently. |
What do you mean by bunker? You mean after returning to the base?
