better sand mod in silent hunter 4

I sure could use help here in the downloading of sand mod in silent hunter 4 V1.5. I simply cannot get it to download. I open the the extracting file getting data, folder, terrian, texture folders plus Jpeg , documents and DDLs. I have tried every combination plus individually to no luck. I really guess I`m getting pretty bad in my old age. Sure could use some help. Thanks in advance.

Are you referring to this one:

Sober's Better Sand? If so, you have to log-in to the site to be able to see a download link near the top of the page that says "Download sobers better sand 2 SH4". Save it to a location you'll remember (of course), and then use something like 7zip on it (http://www.7-zip.org) to view and / or un-zip. The Windows archive "manager" cannot deal with RAR files. All the mod has in it is four DDS files in the Textures folder...

Thank you so much for your help, I have been using WINRAR. I`m now going to 7zip and follow your directions, again thank you so much.
