no spawn ships?
 

does anyone know if there is a way to stop the game from putting additional ships into a mission?
trying to build mission of Pearl Harbor attack and each time I run it, the game puts additional ships in Pearl- carriers, and of course there was no carriers there on dec 7th 1941.
also, does anyone have land units such as the tank farms and so on?
please help!

Single mission or career? Problem with trying to do it as a career start is dozens of other missions are loaded together, defined in the DynamicMiss.cfg and the Campaign.cfg files. AFAIK (and I could be wrong, I have 62 years experience at guessing wrong :know: ) all ships that spawn in campaign are added by one of the .mis files, so the trick would be to find out which one is loading traffic or docked ships at Pearl.

it is a single mission and I have looked through the LOC and NMS files. that was how I got the wrecks from showing up on that date. I also figured that I can put them back but put the entry date on the 8th or late night of the 7th.
I've learned alot trying to get this set up but can't figure the darn spawning ships.
I'll look through some the us mis files and see what I can see.
I am still looking for newer ground files than the base game has, or if someone can explain how to make the dds/dat files for new units- I would be overjoyed.
there is not any kind of directions on how to do this, at least that I have found so far.
I also have 62 years at guessing wrong, and there has been some big ones!!

I figured it out finally, it was in the file us harbor traffic. once I went into it and edited the ships that were not supposed to be in pearl on that day- no more unwelcome show ups.
just changed most of the entrance date to dec8th, so no more problem.
