That's certainly true.

Actually...I think it was the ground that did that... :hmmm:

I was pleased with the amount of flak over Cartagena last mission though...well...right up until it broke my ailerons, rudder and elevators, but it was the right amount and it looked very good.

Raptor1 10-21-10 08:29 AM

The amount of flak was good, but it really seemed as if the Republicans knew our exact flightpath and put guns all along the way...Maybe they did, considering our incompetent intelligence service...

Thing is though, I don't put objects in areas where I don't expect us to fly, so a sprinkling of AAA along the route would represent a sprinkling of AAA across the countryside. It helps keeps frame rates acceptable on my creaking machine but still gives some experience of a war being fought below. Well, that's what I thought when I made the mission anyway.

Raptor1 10-21-10 08:42 AM

Hmm, fair enough. I think AAA is usually concentrated at specific points rather than spread out all along the countryside, but since this campaign happens in a siege, I guess it makes sense.

Most of the AAA was little Maxim MGs, the odd soldier firing into the air and that.

Raptor1 10-21-10 11:28 AM

Ah, that would make sense.

Task Force 10-21-10 11:36 AM

so are we flying today, or are we flying only 2 days a week?

Oberon 10-21-10 12:18 PM

Can throw a dogfight/ muckabout server up if anyone wants.

Any particular theme if so?

Raptor1 10-21-10 12:22 PM

Anything will do if we're not continuing the campaign, I guess.

Oberon 10-21-10 01:44 PM

Well, it all depends if anyone turns up. :hmmm:

Task Force 10-21-10 01:58 PM

I will.

Raptor1 10-21-10 02:05 PM

Me as well.
