wolves of steel enigma message, dont have it installed

So I have a steam version of the game with the TWoS mega pack installed and after a few hour played I got an encrypted order even though I dont have "TWos Encrypted BdU Orders" installed in the GME that comes with TWoS.

do anyone know how to turn the encrypted messages of?

the mod itself is a cool idea, but In my mind everything's already encrypted and my radio man decrypt everything. and I dont think decrypting orders are for me.

Yes Knatten, sometime i too have encrypted message without the mod for encrypted Bdu orders.
Don’t Worry, soon after you receive the normal message.

I guess it was in Baltic operations, and probably for changing Memel harbor to Kiel main home base (a red message)

Don’t know if it is a bug or something else, but the principal is to get normal one too :yep:

It happens sometimes in further campaign also.

thank you Fifi, I did get a message along those lines as well!

dont feel so bad for ignoring enigma commands anymore and returning to base instead.

So I have received my first Enigma encrypted message and dutifully decrypted it (and triple checked, but who knows maybe I made an error) and it works out to be complete gibberish.

The thing that is odd about it is: there is an underscore character immedately before the "indicator group," so I thought maybe that was somehow indicating the message got garbled by the algorithm?

Here is a screen cap of it
