Looks interesting

I think I'll wait a few months though. I've read a few reviews that say that the game is quite buggy. Nice to be back here. I was a Silent Hunter 3 guy :)

There are bugs true but they are not game breaking in any way.
Also the devs seem to keep a nice and constant flow of patches and this makes me feel very optimistic about the future of the game.

I like it a lot (after 36h behind me), btw. in the last week it was 3 patches so developer do many things to improve this title. A lot of fun with CW till now! I recommend it. :subsim:

What's the process for getting patch updates for the game?

In Steam, right click on the Cold Waters launcher, select Properties and click the BETAS tab.

The beta you can opt into is simply labeled "beta-" Once you select that and close the properties page it should start downloading the latest beta.

Steam will do everything automatically (with stable and official version).
You can do nothing.

Totally. This is the first time I've been back in years for a new game. I now need to go and make a donation. I believe that everyone should do that in order to help keep Subsim alive. :)

Quick question......are the key commands the same on a laptop? I haven't had time to start training yet. :)

PL_Harpoon 06-20-17 06:00 AM

I see no reason why they shouldn't, but they're all rebindable anyway.
