S3D help - ship propulsion

Hi

Just a question from a weary part-time modder - I am trying to modify a few ship models and i have reached an impass and I am exhausted searching the forum so apologies if this has been asked (and answered) before...

Using S3D I have edited the .sim file to match the .dat file in regards to the propeller but the ship shows up in museum at first with bow wave and prop wash but then slows down and becomes stationary. The problem seems to be with the propulsion - screw is NOT turning so ship gradually comes to a halt.

I cannot pinpoint the problem and having to tweak and reload the museum is making me a little bit frustrated!

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Regards
P

Hi mate!
Do you maybe rename props' mode differently in .DAT and in .SIM files?
Propeller's name must be identical in both files, or they would stop...

Best regards,
Vd

Use MissionEditor, and blank campaign files.
