Movie remake suggestions

Been thinking about a Lost Boys remake. Have Kiefer Sutherland cameo...? Good idea???

bstanko6 04-22-19 12:34 PM

How about The Wraith...? Another good Pre-weird Charlie Sheen movie!

I am over the "remake" fad. But that is just me. The "Robocop" remake pretty much killed the idea for me. It's like they didn't even bother watching the first movie.....

C'mon Slyguy, this is your forum. All of the other remake directors are fools...
You are the new upcoming director! What remake would YOU do?

bstanko6 04-23-19 06:19 AM

What about The Rescue? Remember that old '80s movie where the kids went to Korea to save their fathers?

bstanko6 04-23-19 06:21 AM

We need an Iron Eagle remake!

stork100 04-23-19 07:14 PM

The Red Baron (2008). Worst movie I've ever seen.

bstanko6 04-23-19 07:22 PM

Stork...

The title of this thread is movie remakes! Which movie would you like to see remade?

stork100 04-23-19 07:29 PM

That one exactly. The character is a legend and the true story is amazing. Take a piece of garbage and rework it into the greatest movie ever. That's my kind of remake! :D

Slyguy3129 04-24-19 12:02 AM

Oh. I think I get what you mean now.

Fair enough.

I'd remake "The Longest Day" and "A Bridge Too Far". Shoot on location (Europe be damned) and keep the effects as real as possible. Bring as many advisors on as possible to do justice to both those Operations. Make it as brutal, honest, and un-Hollywooded up as possible. I think that would be great fun and give some of these indoor cats a taste of what it's like sometimes when you are brave enough to go outside.

Nice Slyguy...

With today’s tech they would be awesome.

I would love to see really any civil war movie remade. It seems a long time since they made Glory. That tv series was nice, but I think Glory needs a facelift!

The Blue Max. Much better replicas are now available, they could do it in German (even though the book series was written by an American, and most of all STICK TO THE STORY THIS TIME!

Oh yea, we do need more good Civil War movies, so long as there isn't an air of "make all white people feel guilty" about it. Sadly I'm afraid that's all they would do with a Civil War Movie.

But if it could be done without Leftist ruining it I'd totally be down for that.

Would love a shot for shot remake of "Sink the Bismarck" as well. Would love to see models used again. With a blend of practical effects and CGI, I think it could look amazing!
