Hannover has been at least 35°C this afternoon, and dry as a desert. Here it is 38 in the shadows, and more than 40 in the sun. :dead:
Went out for dinner yesterday, very nice outside and temperature at 23 until 11 p.m.
Will go down from tomorrow on though..

Now it's turned chilly ans damp, raining in a subtle Swedish way. I bet the sun is still shining in Texas...:-?

When I first got to Stockholm in early July, the sun set at 23:30 and was back up at 01:15... true story.

^ seems to be a dimmed lamp with a charging socket for electric vehicles (?)
Or a modern water hydrant, swedish style?
A camouflaged periscope? :hmmm: :D

Ahh sounds like one of those cool, chilly afternoons in Spain. Right now we are 42+ here :wah::shifty:

Been invited to eat 'Surströmming' yet? If someone asks, just politely say no! (and find ANY excuse to avoid the occasion!)

You'll thank me later, if you are within 100 meters of an ongoing 'Surstömming' party, and your nose still works!

Onkel Neal 09-06-16 04:49 PM

Haha, ok, thanks for the advice.

Exciting seeing pictures from your stay in Sweden :)

Based on your experience, which is better?

Norwegian aquavitt (akevitt), Danish or Swedish? I believe they are made differently depending on the country of origin.
