Hello,


The latest EUF UBoat FX mod, EUFv2_0_UBoat_FX_v0_0_6f_ byTheBeast, will crash my game , so I would like to try the previous mod of this serie called:


EUF_UBoat_FX_v0_0_5_ byTheBeast


I already have the v.004 and 003 which work fine, but I guess the 005 is the forelast one in the serie.



It's not in the download section and there is no thread of it either (at least I didnt' find it).

I'm still running WoS 2.1 on my PC (took a long break, never uninstalled) and looking at the modlist it says it uses EUF v0_0_5. But actually it's 0_0_6e, I was thinking I could cherrypick the files out my install for you but don't know if it's worth it or not. I've put the readme below so you can see as it lists the files and the iterations of the mod to that point, maybe it will help you. If you want the files let me know by PM and I'll stick them up on GoogleDrive for you but I'm off for a work training course for the next 4 days so it won't be til after then.

Adds Deck Splash FX to Type-VIIA, VIIB, VIIC and VIIC41 boats while surfaced or running Decks A Wash.
Adds Exhaust Smoke FX to the Type-VIIA, VIIB, VIIC and VIIC41 UBoats while Surfaced or using Snorkle.
Adds Snorkle Wake FX to the UBoat Snorkels while submerged.
Adds Snorkle Splash FX to the UBoat Snorkels while submerged.
Adds Random Bubbles to the Type-VIIA, VIIB, VIIC and VIIC41 UBoats while submerged.
Adds Dive Bubbles to the Type-VIIA, VIIB, VIIC and VIIC41 UBoats when you first dive below water surface.

- Edited file data\Submarine\NSS_Uboat7a\NSS_Uboat7a_FX.GR2 adding FX_Dive_Bubbles_xx and Exhaust Bones.
- Enabled Left/Right Sides Exhaust Particle Generators on the Type-VIIA,B,C,C41.
- Created Halo Lights - RED - YELLOW - BLUE - GREEN
- - Enabled these lights in MOD Room_QR1, not good. So much fog, Imagine a Diso full of Rustafarians billowing smoke.

Hello Damo,


I did some analysis in the meantime for this mod, and I think I can stick with my current 003/004 version, the one you propose has indeed some changes but wouldn't do much difference for the purpose I'm aiming for, which is getting less wakes over my sub in order to have longer deck gun / flack gun operability. This cannot even be done in the newest TWoS which uses the most recent files. Also I have an alternative mod called 'deck gun friendly waves' which I could use instead.


I highly appreciate your feedback and your upload proposal, many thanks for that, but I can now do without.
