Crash at specific time....

Well poop.

I seem to be stuck with a recurring crash on my latest patrol that seems to be tied to a specific trigger.

That is to say at 1700hrs....to the exact second....I crash to desktop.

I have tried several old saves and despite this every time the clock swings around to 1700 on a specific day its bye bye game.

At first I thought it was a ship I damaged earlier finally sinking, but even reloading a save before damaging the ship didn't fix it.

( and I didn't do any of the big save no-no's...underwater....TC etc etc)

Im sure there is no fix but I thought Id ask anyways.:hmmm:

Time for a new career?

How about letting us know which version of the game you have, and any mods that you have running.

Are you running RSRDC? That would be one of the few mods that has that good of a schedule. Even the stock game doesn't keep that good of time consistently with its RGG. What date is it? Month, day and year, and your location in the game. Also, are you sure your mods are properly activated?

Do you have any radio mods installed? If there's a program scheduled for that time, but the file needed is missing or corrupt, it can cause a crash.

I agree. This sounds like it could be a problem with a radio file.

You guys are so smart!

It was indeed the CBS radio mod that had a mis-named mp3 file.

A little re-working and voila....back in business...thanks all.:salute:
