TWOS Real navigation. Navigator can't Celestial fix.

Hi
I'm sure I'm being an idiot but my navigator just reports the weather when I request a celestial fix, the button greys out until I submerge or request a dead reckoning fix but nothing else happens. This is the same when using the automatic patrol navigation.
Any ideas...

how long have you waited before you think it's broken?

About 20 minutes. On automatic it doesn't return a fix until the next dead reckoning. How long does it normally take and does that time get altered by compression?

Usually about 35-45 mins game time. I think I have seen it as little as 20 mins.

As a side note...this stuff is all editable in the Options File editor/viewer....and looking at it just right now its base on seconds.....so 45 mins max (2700 sec) and 15 mins min (900 sec)....which I think is stock.

That's awesome, I was just looking at that. Thanks so much for the help.
There's a plus to thinking it wasn't working, it forced me to learn how to use the sextant :)
